Event Overview

The “Gingerbread Games” are upon us! Our Gingerbread Friends will be on display from December 1st through December 22nd, all throughout the Sun Inn Courtyard at the Tavern at the Sun Inn’s Winter Garden – also be sure to check out some of the Christmas City Village Huts which will also be included in the Garden this year with many other exciting Christmas activities and entertainment!

Here’s how you join in the games! First, up your Gingerbread friend, paint them, decorate them, and bring them to life! There is no theme this year, so let your imagination run wild (must be kid-friendly and appropriate). Then drop off your gingerbread friend and we’ll take care of the rest.

The winner this year will receive a $100 Gift Certificate to a shop of their choice in within the Historic District.

Pick Up

You can pick up your Gingerbread Friend and number tag on 11/13, 11/14, 11/15, 11/16 from 9:00am – 4:00pm at 74 W. Broad Street, Suite 240, Bethlehem, PA 18018, please call for an alternate pick-up time, we will make arrangements.

Decorate

Paint, glue, staple, decorate, and secure all the elements of your Gingerbread Friend. We are not responsible for any items you provide that are stolen or damaged.

Drop Off

Return your Gingerbread Friend to 74 W Broad Street with your number tag attached from 11/27, 11/28, 11/29.

On Display

When you drop off your Gingerbread Friend, they will be put on display randomly throughout The Sun Inn Courtyard located behind the Tavern at the Sun Inn.

Winner Announced

At the conclusion of the contest, the winner will be announced on December 23rd on our Visit Historic Bethlehem social media pages and website event page.

Pick Up

You may pick up your Gingerbread Friend at will 12/28 through 1/2/2024. Any remaining Gingerbread Friends after this date will be removed by the Downtown Bethlehem Association and will become the property of the DBA.
