At its height\, the Bethlehem plant ran 24/7 while employing more than 30\,000 people.\n\nOn the tour\, you’ll dive into Bethlehem Steel’s nearly 100-year history while exploring the former blast furnaces at SteelStacks\, an awe-inspiring complex that’s nearly a quarter-mile long and reaches a height of more than 230 feet. Looking to expand upon your visit to the Moravian Museum in the 1741 Gemeinhaus\, the oldest building in the city? This tour is the perfect option! \nYou’ll visit the Single Sisters’ House\, part of the Moravian Church Settlements–Bethlehem World Heritage Site; the 1752 Apothecary\, which until its closing in the 1950s was the oldest pharmacy in continuous operation in the United States; and the Nain-Schober House\, the only extant 18th-century building built by and lived in by Indigenous Peoples in Eastern Pennsylvania. \nThis tour departs from the Moravian Museum (66 W. Church Street) at noon every day the museum is open\, and all three locations are within easy walking distance of the museum.
