We are thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of The Velvet Raven, Bethlehem’s newest destination for fantasy lovers, tabletop gamers, and imaginative adventurers. Founded by Royce Atkins, The Velvet Raven is more than just a retail store. It is a welcoming community space where stories come to life and friendships are forged around the gaming table. Located on Main Street in Historic Downtown Bethlehem, The Velvet Raven offers a thoughtfully curated selection of fantasy novels, tabletop role-playing games, board games, card games, puzzles, dice, hobby accessories, and unique gifts designed to inspire creativity and connection.
The Velvet Raven was created from Royce’s passion for storytelling, gaming, and building community. Whether visitors are seasoned adventurers, avid readers, or newcomers looking to discover a new hobby, the shop provides an inviting space to explore new worlds, meet fellow enthusiasts, and embrace the magic of imagination. The grand opening celebration marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both The Velvet Raven and the Bethlehem community, and we invite everyone to join us as we officially welcome this unique fantasy bookshop and tabletop gaming destination to Downtown Bethlehem.
